Brody’s Law

In 2024, the Project moved to create a law influenced by Kayden’s Law to protect the children of Montana.

The purpose of Brody’s Law is to increase priority of child safety in any child custody proceeding, strengthen the courts’ ability to recognize and adjudicate domestic violence and child abuse allegations based on valid and admissible evidence, and ensure professionals involved in child custody proceedings have acquired the appropriate trainings from peer-reviewed, and reliable sources.
